This is a rare circa early 1890s milk bottle from Lawnfield Farm in Henniker, New Hampshire. The bottle has a metal cap and reads THIS BOTTLE TO BE WASHED AND RETURNED on the reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 8-1/2" in height 3-3/4" in diameter (at base).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Glass and steel/iron.
ATTACHMENT:Hinged lid.
MARKINGS:POWELL & LOCKWOOD MAKERS 112 CHAMBERS ST NEW YORK on bottom.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The bottle has some small, light abrasions and the cap is somewhat corroded.
