Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a very early membership pin for the American Motorcyclist Association, a group that began in 1924 in Ohio. The pin is a curved triangle fantastically enameled in black with a swirl at its center, based upon an ancient Buddhist symbol.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920's.

SIZE:

Approximately 9/16" in height and 9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with C catch.
