ARTIFACT:

This is a very cool unofficial United States Marine Corps enlisted man dress blue overseas cap. The cap is a beautiful blue with reddish piping and bears an eagle, glove and anchor badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Size 7 or 7-1/4.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt embroidered with cotton/silk threads; bronze badge.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

Original manufacturer's label: BALDWIN REGALIA CO. ST. LOUIS MO.
