ARTIFACT:

This is a Ventura County, California Fire Warden Hat Badge Circa 1930's - Early 1940's by Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Co Sterling. Gold Hat Badge for Chief, Assistant Chief & Battalion Chief's.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s - Early 1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-5/8" in height x 1-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-Plated Silver with hard fired blue enamel, and silver disk backing.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing and pin.
