ARTIFACT: Variation of WWI 108th CEF Canadian Infantry Battalion Selkirk, Manitoba Hat Badge with Original Cotter Pin.  The Battalion was raised in Manitoba with mobilized headquarters at Selkirk under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed September 19, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G.H. Bradbury with a strength of 32 officers and 843 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 14th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.

VINTAGE: WWI.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lacquered brass.

ATTACHMENT: Cotter pin with catch.
