ARTIFACT:

This is a variant World War II Royal Air Force/Royal Canadian/Air Force/Royal Australian Air Force cap badge. The badge shows an eagle wreathed in bullion and topped by a metal crown.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-11/16" in height x 2-9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Multi-piece velvet badge with gold-plated brass details embroidered in silk and bullion threads with treated paper backing.

ATTACHMENT:

Brads.
