ARTIFACT: This is a United States Air Service Officer Shirt Size collar insignia by Shreve & Company. The design of the insignia is a winged propeller.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1" in height x 1-1/2" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze and lacquered brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with locking catch (catch is missing central rotating piece).

MARKINGS: SHREVE & CO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Service collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VDEX06 LAGEX5/10 SVAEJX04/18

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Insignia has some small spots of wear on propeller and rotating piece is missing from the catch.
