Description
Unusual Saigon Country Club novelty Vietnam War Era baseball cap. The red cap features a nicely embroidered front that shows a pair of crossed golf clubs in the center with a grenade on either side and surrounding it reads: "VIETNAM NATIONAL OPEN SAIGON COUNTRY CLUB" in white block embroidered letters. The reverse of the hat reads: "OLD. BALDY" above the adjustable strap. Possibly belonged to an officer of higher rank with the nickname "Old Baldy", the inside shows a nice Vietnam tailor tag (see photo).
