This is an unusual 1970's Effie Calavaza Zuni Silver Ring With one Coral Cabochon & one Snake.
Effie Calavaza: Feb 15, 1927 - 201She is the most widely recognized Zuni artist.
The work of Calavaza is easily identified by her recurring symbolism - a snake portrayed in her jewelry. In Zuni belief, the snake is a positive sign of rebirth and renewal.
VINTAGE:
1970's.
