ARTIFACT:
Unusual 1920's -1930's lapel pin featuring a royal blue enameled silhouette of the United States in the center of a royal blue enameled ring that reads: "AMERICA MY COUNTRY", the silhouette features 12 small stars and one larger in the center of the continent and was made by the International Jewelry Workers' Union. The reverse features a Union Made stamp with the I.J.W.U. union's symbol of a faceted diamond in the center of the maker mark which reads: "I. J. W. U. UNION MADE"

Circa 1920's - 1930's
SIZE:
Approximately 9 /16" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Enameled nickeled brass
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical pin with come under 'C' clasp.
MARKINGS:
"PAT AP'D FOR" "I. J. W. U. UNION MADE" union maker-marked.

8 (Excellent-): Pin shows minor wear mostly at high point, nearly all the enameled details remain fully intact.
