ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1960 iron-on Flight Jacket Decal for the United States Air Force. The decal shows the winged star insignia in silver and reads U. S. AIR FORCE below. This would be applied to Flight Jackets and Flight Suits in the later 1950's and early 1960's. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1960, dated 1961.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in width x 3-1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed decal.

ATTACHMENT: Iron-on.

MARKINGS: APPLY ACCORDING TO SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE MEYERCORD CO. CHICAGO 44, ILL. 

MADE IN U.S.A. 10530 222-9-61.
