Unused 1940s Breyers' Ice Cream Half-Pint Box

ARTIFACT: This is an unused Breyers’ Ice Cream on half-pint box from the 1940s. The box shows the Breyers’ leaf logo printed in color on two sides, along with their "Pledge of Purity" and their motto: “Made Better, Tastes Better”.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8” height and 2-7/8” width and 1-15/16” depth.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Printed cardboard.

ATTACHMENT: Four flaps with two of them interlocking.

MARKINGS: MARATHON stamp and MENASHA WISCONSIN on bottom; serial number and liquid measure information on top.
