ARTIFACT: This is a unique handmade and hand embroidered banner / table cover / handkerchief from the United States Navy's Patrol Torpedo Base #16 in the Philippines. 

The banner / table cover / handkerchief shows a life preserver at center with the information PHILIPPEN PT BASE. 16 inside, a tropical scene at bottom, and has the initials P.F. embroidered on it.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 14" x 14".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in multi-colored silk / cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be hung on wall.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): Handkerchief has a few small stains and overall yellowing showing its age.
