ARTIFACT: This is the Summer 1981 edition of "Cross & Cockade Journal" Volume 22, Number 2. This publication was issued quarterly by the Society of World War I Aero Historians. Some of the articles in this issue are entitled "Jasta Boelcke: A Crisis in Command", "Salving Operations by the German Air Service" and "Bent Plumage: No. 79 Squadron, R.F.C./R.A.F.".
