Description
This is a copy of the "Metropolitan Museum of Art Bulletin Summer 1979". This copy of the quarterly bulletin focuses on "The Cloisters", a museum in Manahattan set up by American sculptor George Grey Barnard. Barnard installed French medieval art abandoned during World War I in The Cloisters, such as the pillar originally from the abbey of Saint-Guilhem-le-D??sert that graces the cover.
