ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Transport Command chained sweetheart pin in sterling silver by Levelle & Company. One pin shows an aircraft sailing past the globe with bars in code around the border and the other is a petite winged propeller.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: ATC pin: approximately 5/8" in diameter; propeller pin: approximately 5/16" in height and ½" in width; chain is about 1-3/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Pins with drop-in locking catches; chain.

MARKINGS: STERLING on propeller; LEVELLE & CO. WASHINGTON D.C. PHILA. PA. on ATC pin.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBX98 LFJX8/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some small spots of light wear and tarnish.
