This is a sterling Model 1944 United States Marine Corps officer "greens" (undress) collar insignia made by H&H. The insignia is an eagle, globe and anchor for wear upon the left collar. The insignia has a screwback in a wartime material.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, white metal backing nut.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilizer post.
MARKINGS:STERLING and H&H eagle maker's mark.
