ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver lapel pin in for Alaska Airlines, which began in 1932. The badge shows a bird and a lone star at center against a beautiful red and blue enameled background.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's.

SIZE: 5/16" height and 1-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: Maker's mark with B in a shield topped by a Parthenonesque structure and STER.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RCEX95 LABJX9/10 SLFEX1/17

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Pin has some light abrasions and tarnish.
