This is a sterling silver lapel pin in for Alaska Airlines, which began in 193The badge shows a bird and a lone star at center against a beautiful red and blue enameled background.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960's.
SIZE:5/16" height and 1-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:Maker's mark with B in a shield topped by a Parthenonesque structure and STER.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Pin has some light abrasions and tarnish.
