ARTIFACT:

This is an early World War II United States Army Air Forces issue crew wing in sterling silver.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in height and 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch (swivel part of catch is missing).

MARKINGS:

STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX071 LHEX9/11 SHEX3/13

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The wing shows light wear and tarnish; swivel part of catch is missing.
