ARTIFACT: Signed American Volunteer Group (A.V.G) Print titled Fighting Tigers by Robert Taylor. The print depicts an aviation battle between the Flying Tigers and the Nakajima Imperial Japanese fighters over the Hsiang Chiang River in 1944. The print was signed by eight Flying Tigers pilots: Chuck Older, Erik Shillig, Tex Hill, Don Lopez, Wiltz Segura, John Allison, Ed Rector, and Dick Rossi. The artist's signature can be seen in two places, one at the bottom corner (viewer's left) of the print. The other is located along the bottom in pencil with the pilot signatures, the limited edition print is #327 of 850 and the opposite side shows a small illustrated image of a P-40 Warhawk showing the number "122". At the center bottom of the print it reads: "FIGHTING TIGERS BY ROBERT TAYLOR", "P-40 WARHAWKS OF THE 75th AND 16th FIGHTER SQUADRONS, 23rd FIGHTER GROUP, IN A HEATED DOG-FIGHT WITH JAPANESE NAKAJIMA FIGHTERS OVER THE HSIANG CHIANG RIVER, FOLLOWING AN ATTACK ON JAPANESE FORCES NORTH OF CHANGSHA: AUGUST 5TH, 1944". Along the top of the print in small lettering it reads: "A LIMITED EDITION PRINT", "PUBLISHED BY THE MILITARY GALLERY, BATH ENGLAND ?? 1996".
