Scarce WWII Japanese Home Front Women's Patriotic Association Handbag in Excellent Condition

Scarce WWII Japanese Homefront women's patriotic association handbag in excellent condition. The center of the woven handbag features an ink stamp or hand-painted embellishment that shows an anchor with a red five point star in the center surrounded by floral-like wreath. The bag has a flap top and two snap closures and reverse shows a riveted strap or handle.

Approximately 10" x 7-1/2" (closed); 14-7/8" x 7-1/2" (open)

Ink, paint, painted steel snaps, steel rivets, heavy woven material, cotton facing
