This is a scarce circa World War II British Army parachute qualified jump wing. The wing is in embroidered wool and was removed from a tunic. The wing has a white parachute at center flanked by a pair of light blue wings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool with cotton/silk embroidery, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a WWII Great Britain and Commonwealth wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX13 LHEX1/14
CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Sadly the wing is mothed.
