ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War I collar insignia for the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles Regiment overseas, a group that became a part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in 1914. The badge is a moose head with a banner reading 4 C.M.R.R. OVERSEAS.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops with cotter pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Canadian militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX11 LFEX5/11 SFEX9/14

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin has a light, handsome tarnish and little wear.
