ARTIFACT: This is a scarce variation of a patch for the 464th Fighter Squadron, 507th Bomber Group, 7th Air Force. The patch is different from others of its kind because there is no blue felt on the face of the patch. It pictures an eagle in flight with a missile.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 5-3/8" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX09

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Patch shows some wear and a few slight spots of discoloration.
