ARTIFACT:
This is a scarce variation of a patch for the 464th Fighter Squadron, 507th Bomber Group, 7th Air Force. The patch is different from others of its kind because there is no blue felt on the face of the patch. It pictures an eagle in flight with a missile.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
5-3/8" diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Wool felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
