This is an "E" award pin for the Midvale Corporation in gold-plated sterling silver. The pin is oval and reads E FOR PRODUCTION UNITED STATES NAVY BUREAU OF ORDNANCE 1944 MIDVALE and shows an anchor and two crossed cannon with five stars. This pin is for Midvale's 6th E Award!
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:15/16" in height x 11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
