ARTIFACT: This is an extremely Rare Handmade multi-peice lether AVG-Type Chinese Blood Chit Ca. Early-Mid 1942. This example is even more scarce in the smaller size and is in worn & solied "been there" condition. This variation is as shown on page 25 of Robert E. Baldwin's "Behind Enemy Lines" Evasion and Escape Aids of World War II. The top portion of the chit is a Chinese flag in multi-piece colored leather and beneath are Chinese characters.

VINTAGE: WWII.

SIZE: About 6-7/8" in width by 9-5/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sewn, multi-piece dyed leather with painted characters.
