Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce miniature World War II Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR) Observer wing. The wing is padded, and has a bullion "O" at its center with an anchor inside.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in bullion and silk/cotton threads, velvet, padding, treated backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
