ARTIFACT: This is a scarce Hilborn & Hamburger H&H Imperial Model 1937 United States Marine Corps Officer Undress Overseas Cap Badge made entirely in gilt brass. The badge is the classic Eagle, Globe and Anchor, and was to be worn on the rarely seen Fatigue or Undress Blue USMC Officer Uniform Overseas Cap. 

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height x 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing and one stabilizer post.

MARKINGS: IMPERIAL (partial) H&H in Eagle Outline maker's mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX04 LAFEX6/10 hldSAEJX10/20

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Insignia shows some spots of light wear and oxidation.
