Scarce Early WWII US Army 1st Armored Division "Lemon Top" OD Border Shoulder Patch

This is a scarce early World War II United States Army 1st Armored Division "lemon top" shoulder patch with an olive drab wool border. The points of the triangle are rounded in the "Deco" style! This patch is in great condition and was removed from a uniform.

Circa early World War II.

Approximately 3-1/8" in height x 4-1/8" in width.

Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

To be sewn onto uniform.
