This is a scarce early 1930s United States Marine Corps enlisted man dress collar insignia in Meyer Metal, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing. The insignia is an eagle, anchor and globe with the eagle facing left.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height x 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing with stabilization pin.
MARKINGS:MEYER METAL.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia has some light to medium wear and a handsome overall tarnish.
