Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce early 1930s United States Marine Corps enlisted man dress collar insignia in Meyer Metal, a proprietary metallic mix of that company that is very resistant to tarnishing. The insignia is an eagle, anchor and globe with the eagle facing left.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1930's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height x 1" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing with stabilization pin.

MARKINGS:

MEYER METAL.
