This is scarce, Ca 1960, Possibly Earlier, Belgian 3rd Parachute BN Beret Badge Congo Period showing a modified Belgian coat of arms. Belgium's lion (Leo Belgicus) is at center, weapons are crossed behind and topping the crest is a knight's helmet instead of a crown.

Circa 1960 or earlier.

1-11/16" height and 1-13/16" width.

Plated brass.

Two loops with vertical cotter pin.
