This is a scarce circa 1943 United States Navy officer's submarine dolphins in gilt sterling. The dolphins are by Meyer and are in a clutch-back style.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II (1943).
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 2-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch backs.
MARKINGS:1/20 10K STERLING, Meyer shield mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The dolphins show some light wear and tarnish only.
