ARTIFACT:

This is a Scarce 2nd Pattern Arizona Highway Patrol Hat Badge worn from 1933-1945 Made by Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1933 - 1945.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-15/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts with disk-back.

MARKINGS:

"LAS&SCO."  (partially covered by solder)

Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company Maker Mark on back.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent ): The badge shows minor wear, and has an area of tarnish on back.
