Description
This is a pair of real Viet Cong "Ho Chi Minh" sandals. During the Vietnam War these style of shoes were very popular because they were inexpensive to make and cooler than boots in the humidity. The sandals were made from discarded rubber tires and consist of a flat, treaded sole and two sets of two rubber straps, one set crisscrossing below the toes and one parallel set by the ankle.
