ARTIFACT:

This is a rare World War II pocket patch made for the United States Marine Corps Auxiliary Air Station in Kinston, North Carolina. The patch is round and shows an eagle, globe and anchor. The patch reads U.S. MARINE AIR CORPS KINSTON N.C..

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

4" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidery on white wool felt with a muslin backing.
