This is a rare World War II United States Navy WAVES ring in 10 karat gold. The WAVES, or the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, were the first women to serve in the army as a division of the US Navy. The insignia at center is the WAVES insignia: an anchor superimposed upon a 3-bladed propeller.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximate size 5.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold.
