ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II United States Navy 20th Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron MTB RON 20 jacket patch. The patch shows a Rattlesnake riding a torpedo (with a Skull in its front end!) over the ocean and displays the number 20 at bottom.


The Squadron was commissioned on 3 June 1943 and decommissioned on 24 November 1945. 
The Squadron's Boats, #'s PT 235 - 254, saw action in the South Pacific and Southwest Pacific.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Out of round: Approximately 4-3/16" in height x 3-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully- embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a Deck Jacket.

MARKINGS: N/A.
