ARTIFACT: Rare WWII Pratt & Whitney Ford-built aircraft engine nose case plaque in painted brass. The gilt brass, red and blue painted nose case plaque reads: “PRATT & WHITNEY AIRCRAFT ENGINE BUILT BY FORD AIRCRAFT ENGINE DIVISION LICENSED BY UNITED AIRCRAFT CORPORATION” and is in excellent condition.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2” in diameter

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Painted, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Tabs

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The nose case plaque shows minor wear, nearly all of the gilt plated details and paint remain intact, overall excellent condition.
