ARTIFACT: This is a rare pair of World War II Special Air Service (SAS) shoulder titles. The SAS is a British Army regiment, as well as a part of the United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF). When first formed in 1941, the foremost mission of the SAS was to perform risky special operations in enemy territory during the North African Campaign. The titles are in burgundy wool felt embroidered in light blue silk and have cotton backings.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 4-1/2" in length (each).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in silk thread, cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The titles have some very light wear only.
