Description
This is a rare World War II Manhattan Project service certificate named to C. L. Theohar of Tennessee Eastman Corporation. "Manhattan Project" was the codename for the combined effort of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, along with Britain and Canada, to produce the first atomic bomb. The certificate is dated August 6, 1945, the same day that Hiroshima was bombed, and it is signed by the then Secretary of War, Henry L. Stinson.
