This is a rare World War II Chinese "medal" of honor awarded to US airmen. The "medal" is actually a pin in a nice yellow starburst design bearing a winged insignia and a sun.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 2-1/8" in width by 1-3/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated brass with yellow enamel details.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal one piece safety-type pin with a "C" catch.
MARKINGS:are in Chinese lettering.
