ARTIFACT:
Rare and beautiful early WWII, Theater-made shoulder patch & arc combination for the United States Army 109th Medical Battalion, 34th Division as worn during the unit's training in Northern Ireland, 1942. The UK-made patch is fully embroidered and the arc is embroidered twill and reads: "109th MED. BN" in the center and on the outer edges: "34 DIV" and was made in North Africa.

Fully embroidered patch, embroidered silk/cotton arc, cotton/polyester/silk thread, silk/rayon backing
