ARTIFACT: Rare and beautiful early WWII, Theater-made shoulder patch & arc combination for the United States Army 109th Medical Battalion, 34th Division as worn during the unit's training in Northern Ireland, 1942. The UK-made patch is fully embroidered and the arc is embroidered twill and reads: "109th MED. BN" in the center and on the outer edges: "34 DIV" and was made in North Africa.

VINTAGE: Circa early WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" x 2"; Arc 3-1/8" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch, embroidered silk/cotton arc, cotton/polyester/silk thread, silk/rayon backing

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAAX16 LCGEX1/17 SCGEX4/17

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear and soiling, colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
