Rare WWI USMC Officer Dress EGA in Sterling & 10K Gold Modified to Screwback

This is a World War I United States Marine Corps officer dress eagle, globe and anchor. The insignia is in sterling silver with its anchor and land masses in 10 karat gold.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 1-3/8" height x 1-1/4" in width.

10 karat gold, sterling silver, brass backing.

Single screw post with original screwback.

7+ (Very Fine+): The EGA shows only light wear and tarnish with a very slight rippling to the reverse edge of the globe; EGA has an old, period, repair to the screwpost, and is missing the stabilizing pin.
