ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Marine Corps officer dress eagle, globe and anchor. The insignia is in sterling silver with its anchor and land masses in 10 karat gold.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" height x 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10 karat gold, sterling silver, brass backing.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with original screwback.

MARKINGS: STERLING 10K.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX12 LEFEX4/12 SLGIEX09/05/23

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The EGA shows only light wear and tarnish with a very slight rippling to the reverse edge of the globe; EGA has an old, period, repair to the screwpost, and is missing the stabilizing pin.
