This is a rare Canadian Corps of the Guides collar insignia from World War I. The Corps was a cavalry group with largely administrative and reconnaissance duties. The Corps' motto is on the pin VIRTUTE ET LABORE (Labour and Virtue), along with a spear and a mace.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:1-3/8" height and 1-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two loops with cotter pin.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Insignia shows light wear and tarnish and has one spot of discoloration.
