ARTIFACT: Rare WWI Baily, Banks, and Biddle (BB&B) bronze United States Army Nurse Corps Officer collar insignia with gilt brass cypher. The pin is in the shape of a caduceus and features the letters: "ANC" applied to the center with riveted construction.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Two-piece, riveted construction, bronze, gilt bronze

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: "BB&B", "BRONZE"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEM16 LAAEX6/16 SAJJX9/18

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The collar insignia shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plated details remain intact, overall handsome patina.
