ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War I Model 1917 air crew badge. This badge was made circa 1917-1918 by the Austrian maker J. Zimbler. 

VINTAGE: WWI.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/12" height and 2-3/8" width..

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated and gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Clips.

MARKINGS: J.ZIMBLER
