ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Crew wing by LeVelle & Company, a rare maker. The wing shows the Great Seal at its center and has the name and Social Security number of the original owner scratched on its reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" height and 3-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING LEVELLE & CO. WASHINGTON D.C. PHILA. PA. and very hard to read (scratched on) GEO. NEWTON 120 4648.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRCEX09 LBGEX2/11 SBGEX2/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows light to medium wear and tarnish and the pin is a bit rusty.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
