ARTIFACT: Rare late WWII United States Navy leather Blood Chit. The top half, of the CBI-made chit features both, US and Chinese flags and below, Chinese characters and anchor above which reads: "U. S. N. 1945". This is a great "Thin Red Stripes" variation.

VINTAGE: Circa late WWII

SIZE: Approximately 10" x 7-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Multi-piece hand-sewn leather, cotton/silk thread

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The chit shows minor to moderate wear, slight discoloration along edges of anchor, does not detract much, creased from folding, nearly all of the details remain intact.
