This is a Rare Late 1940s Los Angeles County Air Pollution Control Inspector Badge #44 by Entenmann. Formed ca 1950. Had Full Peace Officer Powers-Predecessor of the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

Circa 1950.

Approximately 3-5/16" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
