ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare, large, World War II United States Navy jacket patch for the United States Navy Construction Battalions, CBs, or Seabees. The patch is a decal on leather and is constructed in the same way as a period squadron patch. It reads SEABEES and shows an armed bumblebee wearing a sailor's hat.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Decal on leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a Deck Jacket.

MARKINGS: None.
